Founded on experience and success
VCM is built on very solid foundations. We have a strong operational infrastructure,
good relations with the key players in the market, excellent product knowledge and
a proven track record of success.
1979
David Morgan Futures Ltd (DMF) was established as a local proprietary trading and
brokerage company on the LIFFE floor.
1982
DMF was acquired by Mees Pierson (now known as Fortis Bank Global Clearing NV).
1989
Roderick Wurfbain was appointed Managing Director of DMF.
1999
Roderick Wurfbain purchased DMF from Fortis through a management buy-out and renamed
the company Vantage Derivatives Ltd (VDL).
2004
Rob Hampel joined the VDL management team.
2005
Vantage Capital Markets LLP (VCM) was established as an investment management and
brokerage partnership, incorporating the team at VDL.
2006
VCM relocated to new offices at 47 King William Street, London EC4.
2009
VCM expands and takes on an additional floor within the 47 King William Street office.
